Dennis Dugan Announces His Candidacy For Pinal County Supervisor in District 3
"I want to make Pinal County a destination, not a drive through.”

CASA GRANDE, AZ --  Today, Dennis Dugan formally announced his candidacy for Pinal County Supervisor in District 3.

Dugan, a longtime Democrat, business owner and community activist wants to bring new ideas, new leadership and accountability to county government.Dugan Family

“I believe the voters of Pinal County are looking for a change in leadership on the County Board of Supervisors.  The taxpayers of this county are demanding more accountability and efficiency from their elected officials.  As a longtime business owner, I believe I can bring new ideas and a fresh perspective to governing,” said Dugan.

Dugan is supported by a large coalition of business owners, friends, family and Democrat Party activists.  Dugan’s campaign will be co-chaired by Tony Serrano, a third-generation Arizonan, retired businessman and long-time supporter of Democratic candidates in Pinal County, and Claude Gipson, a businessman and product supplier to farmers and the agriculture industry.   Dennis Dugan is also supported by David Hernandez, a life-long educator and former school principal.

Said Serrano, “Dennis has the experience, energy and leadership skills to make Pinal County a vibrant economic engine.  He will bring a common-sense, practical approach to government as a County Supervisor.  Most importantly, I believe Dennis will serve as a watchdog over the taxpayers’ money.  That’s why I’m supporting Dennis Dugan.”

“Dennis Dugan will give our County the leadership it deserves by improving our transportation needs, fighting crime and attracting new, quality jobs to our region,” added Gipson.

Dugan describes himself as a pro-business candidate who wants to attract higher-paying jobs to Pinal County by lowering taxes and reducing regulations on businesses.  He also wants to make road construction and transportation a top priority for the County.  Dennis currently serves as the Chairman of the District 3 Pinal County Transportation Advisory Committee.

Dennis has lived in Casa Grande, operating a dairy farm for nearly 30 years.  Before entering the dairy business, Dennis was a high school teacher and an insurance executive.  In his free time, Dennis is active with the Knights of Columbus, Future Farmers of America and serves on the school board for St. Anthony’s.

He married Kelly Hackler, a native of Casa Grande, in 1985. They have one child, David, age 19.
